Appellation d'Origine Controlée
Red, still dry wine
This wine is obtained from the grapes of the Sangiovese varietal cultivated on the hills of Bologna, Forlì and Ravenna which are the most famous areas for growing the Romagna wines. A careful vinification and a precise period of ripening highlights the characteristics of this wine: ruby red colour with a purple tint, nose recalling the violet scient; dry taste, balanced and lightly tannic, with a pleasantly bitter back taste. Ideal with pastas, roast meat, game and local dishes. The Sangiovese di Romagna is served at room temperature (16° - 18° C). |
