The Modena province is known for the production of the
traditional Lambrusco. Since 1970 its prestigious grape varietals have the Appellation
d'Origine Controlée (DOC)
This wine comes from the grape varietal "Salamino" cultivated in the S. Croce
area, north of Modena.
It is a sapid, semi-sparkling wine with a round structure. Ruby red in colour with a deep,
fruity taste.
The dry type is recommended with pasta and 'tasty' food while the semi-sweet type is
suitable at the end of a meal.
Serve at room temperature (10° - 12° C).
