Chiarli own 7 farms (estates), 6 located in the DOC wines area of Modena and one is based in the DOC wine area Colli Bolognesi, Bologna province.

On the whole, the property is 414 hectares, 131 are vineyards while the other are grown as forage to breed the cattle used for the production of the Parmigiano Reggiano made in the cheese farm belonging to the Chiarli Estate.

CHIARLI-1860 sales during 2004 over 25 millions of bottles, reinforcing its position among the private Companies producing Lambrusco both in terms of invoiced and in volume while confirming the leadership in the Lambrusco DOC with more than 10 millions bottles.
The 2004 turnover is spread for 55% in Italy and for 45% abroad.

In Italy, Chiarli wines are sold to wholesalers, restaurants and main retailers either with the Chiarli brand or with own / exclusive label.

Abroad, CHIARLI-1860, besides having several importers/distributors, has important trading relation with the retail market concerning both the Chiarli brand and private labels.

The agreement made with this clientele has implied remarkable changes to the production site, logistics and quality control according to the parameters required by these customers.
